Dreaming of Flight
This is a 2010 work, using torn tissue, printed images, water color paper embedded with leaves, water colors and acrylic paints. In the summer of 2009 2 1/2 year old Beckett and his father Michael and I laid in the grass in the front yard looking up through the trees watching birds high in the sky. Beckett had the sharpest vision and usually spotted birds first. I am continuing to explore the experiences of my life and the possibilities of mixed media.
